A nod to the marine world, the Chaîne d'Ancre line is inspired by a tie pattern designed by Henri d'Origny. Each link is meticulously worked to ensure the finesse and brilliance of the different pieces. A discreet detail, the clasp underlines the marine identity of the line.

The horn is a natural material, the color of the product may vary and not be identical to that of the photo.

Reflecting Hermès' interest in traditional know-how, this jewel was made in Vietnam by a small group of craftsmen who passionately perpetuate the work of buffalo horn and lacquer.

Care: Horn is a noble and “living” material, the appearance of which may vary slightly depending on climatic conditions (humidity, heat).

Each piece of horn is carefully chosen, cut, heated to obtain a curve, shaped, and then polished. Depending on the model, the horn can be harmonized with pieces of lacquered wood worked by hand. Finally, the jewel is coated with twelve coats of lacquer, a particularly delicate operation.
